Who am I?
I'm Dan. A passionate, hardworking, skilled & friendly professional. I am a First-Class Multimedia Journalism graduate (73.1 avg.) from the University of Salford, with over a decade of experience within various fields of the creative media industry. I am a native and resident of Gibraltar, I am able speak both English & Spanish fluently.
My passions lie predominantly within football, I have travelled the the world following the sport. Whether this be with my own club - Manchester United - or on my many excursions overseas to such clubs as Inter Milan or Benfica, I am an avid traveller & love to explore new places. I also have a great passion for esports, fitness & culture. I am a huge people person, who loves to engage with others & indulge myself in world culture.
Regarding my professional career, I currently work as a Digital Content Creator for a UEFA member international organisation, the Gibraltar Football Association. I have also gained prior work experience with such organisations as the Manchester Evening News as a Football Journalist Intern - writing articles with a Manchester United/Manchester City angle. As well as this, I have travelled to Archidona, Spain, to work alongside hospitality industry expert Joanne Greenhalgh as a Videographer at Almohalla 51 boutique hotel. These experiences make up just a fraction of my total experience in the creative media industry, & examples of work from both of these experiences amongst others can be found on this site.
My breadth of skills ranges from Media Production, to Photography, to News Writing, to Presenting, to Podcasting. I am an incredibly effective communicator, if somebody has a story to tell; then I am excited to listen. If there is something that needs doing, I am more than prepared to do my very best to complete it. I'm open to learning on the job if required - as I am always eager to improve myself and constantly challenge my own skillset.
